In case you haven't heard about Furby(and who hasn't?), They are the Hottest Interactive, Animatronic Pet today! Furbys dance("noh-lah"), sing("wee-tee"), joke("loo-loo"), and Of Course, are VERY talkative! Furbys need love("may-may"), and hugs("may-lah"), and Furbys are especially cute when you have more than one Furby together!

Furbys speak Furbish when they first come to life, but "learn" English after being "alive" for a time. Furbys can catch colds from other Furbys("achooooo!"), will get sick if not fed when hungry("YUM!"), snore when going to sleep, and love to be petted and tickled! Each Furby has its own special personality. Kids and Adults have fallen in love with Furby, and it's no wonder that the stores are constantly sold out! Furby Buddies have now been released! These beanbag toys are a smaller, more petite version of Furby and have no moving parts. They are a big hit already, and proving to be as popular as "Beanie Babies". The fur patterns are the same as the Original Furbys, and each Furby Buddie has its own name printed on the Hang Tag.

Recently the Furby Web site officially announced the retirement of the Original six Furby Colors. A big retirement party was held at FAO Schwartz & The new Furbys were unveiled. The Retiremnet party & unveiling was held on March 12, 1999, in the New York City FAO Schwartz at Fifth Avenue and 58th Street. The new New fur-pattern Furbys include: Giraffe, Owl, Snow Leopard, Dalmatian, Bear and Tiger. The new line is the same as the original Furbys except that there is a new "deep sleep" mode that allows owners to put Furby to sleep quickly so that he won't wake up until he is fully flipped over upside down.
